Panel Session: Adpating to a Changing World and D&I Future Trends

Diversity is critical to the success of any workplace. It provides a wide range of viewpoints, experiences perspective and improves the bottom line. The Malaysian Energy industry has been one of the professional industries that are proactively improving their D&I journey in past years. The industry at large has a long way to go in its D&I efforts. Now come another year, what would be the “new” D&I focus by these organisations? How significant is the industry’s collaboration and cross-efforts to make a greater future of D&I for women in the energy industry?
This panel session aims to explore key issues and high-level recommendations on the progress, future initiatives and direction of D&I for Malaysian Energy Industry as a whole.

Group Speed Mentoring: D&I in the Changing World: Experience Sharing by Energy Leaders

Organisations in the energy sector have made progressive moves in creating the best D&I environment at the workplace. Creating awareness on D&I is vital, but how about leading the ways to ensure that the D&I culture is embraced whole-heartedly to the ground? How to empower other people to do this better?
This group speed mentoring provides thoughts sharing by the mentors from their personal career experiences and organisation's D&I best practice. Mentors will be sharing how to turn challenges into opportunities in creating an inclusive working environment for male/female colleagues. Why D&I is important in the work environment? What has shaped their ways of thinking to make the best D&I efforts less talk & more work?
